NIC, in collaboration with Breast Cancer Care Mauritius, held its second #GetHealthy Ladies Day at NIC Centre on 08 March 2019. The NIC workforce and their family members benefited from free breast cancer screening and counselling throughout the day. 132 staff and family members were screened: 120 ladies and 12 gentlemen. 14 people were referred for further tests. The 9th campaign of #GetHealthy Kids Day was carried out at Little Blossom Pre-Primary School, Rose Hill, last Friday 20 September. 65 children we offered free eye tests and free general check-ups. 20 of them were referred for further eye tests. We thank Little Blossom, the parents, Chisty Shifa Clinic, Farouk Hossen Opticians and the NIC team for contributing to the children’s healthy growth and well-being.
