It only takes a moment to show our parents and elderly how much they mean to us. A hug, a warm smile, a kind word, a gentle gesture.
Isolation, loneliness and boredom are the most common ills our ageing parents & elderly experience, often compounded by mobility and health issues.
To honour, cherish & celebrate all parents & our elderly for their unconditional love & dedication, the NIC team created & spent special moments with our senior citizens in 5 retirement homes from the 15 – 24 May.
The team prepared a special day, packed with lots of fun, music, poems, dance, lunch and dessert. A care pack was also gifted to every resident.
Connections have been made. Lives have been touched. Hearts have been filled with lasting memories.
