NIC launched the first GetHealthy Elders Day at the Jadoonandan Ballgobin Home, St Paul Rd, Vacoas. The GetHealthy Elders Day aims to raise health awareness for our elderly and the need for palliative care through free health tests and check-ups. With the collaboration of our NIC team, our health partners Sports Medicine Clinic and Patel Optics and the staff members of the Jadoonandan Ballgobin Home, 36 senior citizens were provided with free health check-ups, pain assessment

A Big thank you to all the blood donors at the NIC Blood Donation Drive 2018 for their kindness, compassion, and selflessness. Collectively you have given nearly 200 patients the gift of life. We thank the Blood Donors Association Mauritius, the National Blood Transfusion Service and the Blood Bank Mauritius for working tirelessly to ensure a sustainable supply of blood for patients in our country. We also thank the NIC team for rallying blood donors to this meaningful cause
