Mauritius envied the world over its azure waters, alluring beaches, and marine riches, as such NIC believes that it is of its responsibility to help to have a healthy environment. In line with same, NIC has launched the NIC Embellishment Programme under its second CSR Pillar Programme which is in line with the ECO Strategy.

The objective of this programme is to promote Eco Awareness nationwide and develop a program of ecological and environmentally-conscious initiatives. The NIC Eco Embellishment Program aims to create a cleaner, greener, and safer environment around the island.

In the spirit of “giving back to the society”, NIC is embarking on this journey across the island whereby we shall spot places that will require an uplifting and embellishment touch to bring it back to life. In so doing we are also engaging the community around and any other stakeholders having the same CSR objective.

In this context, NIC is adopting a more sustainable approach to doing business, playing a broader economic and societal role of “Serving the Nation”, and contributing to the development and progress of its customers, stakeholders, the community, and the nation it serves.
